Club away run, Lochearnhead April 9
Our first away run of 2017 will be an epic 14 miler starting and finishing in Lochearnhead. We will head up the Glen Ogle track for 3-4 miles before bearing west to pick up the track South through Gleann Dubh. This track takes us up and over the stunning and spectacular bealach at about 600m before descending into Glen Kendrum and back from Edinchip to Lochearnhead along the old railway line. In total, it’s a 14 miler with at least 500m of climb and will take us 3-4 hours.
Once the run is done, we’ll head down the road to the Achray House Hotel in St Fillans for soup, filled rolls, tea/coffee and biscuits – all for a crisp tenner. Those of you who came on our Glen Tarken away run a couple of years back will remember what a great job the Achray did for us then – so hopefully they’ll do us proud again this time.
