Date: 29 October 2017
Start time: 9.30 at Taylor Park, 10.00 at the Turret dam
Location: Loch Turret
Each year, around the end of October, we organize a club run up to King Kenneth’s Cairn next to Loch Turret. It’s quite a steep climb but not too long and in good weather the views are wonderful. We have been doing this run each year since 2008 as an occasion to remember our fellow Harrier, Simon Wake, who died of pancreatic cancer in that year. For those that knew him it’s a nice way to call him to mind again on one of his favourite runs and for those that didn’t it’s still a fab wee hill run with club-mates. We are planning to meet at Taylor Park at 9.30am or at the Dam at 10am.
