It was a successful weekend for two Harriers at the London Marathon. Roger Goddard smashed the club marathon record with a terrific time of 2.46.36. The club record has stood since the club was founded in 1984, and Roger now has the best half marathon and two of the three best marathon times for the club.
Andy Scott ran the London Marathon for PTSD Resolution, a charity which supports returning service personnel struggling with post-traumatic stress issues. Andy had a very successful run, beating his previous marathon best with a time of 3.47.28, and in doing so has raised a fantastic £2000! Contributions to Andy’s page can be made via the Harriers for charity pages.
