A good turnout saw 13 Harriers make the short hop through to Perth for the popular Kinnoull Hill race, probably the best value race in Scotland. Despite a chilly wind, conditions were very good for running, with a record turnout for the race.
The race was won by Ben Stevenson of Ochil Hill Runners, in 24.48. Wattie was first Harrier home in 10th place overall, and 1st M50, in a time of 28.41. Emily, taking a break from her Celtman training, was 2nd woman, in 33.44.
Charlie was 2nd Harrier in 36th position, in 30.50, with Nick coming in next in 32.51 in 55th position.
Ruth Clark made a great return to racing after her Highland Fling exploits to finish 2nd Harrier woman in 37.50, a wee bit ahead of Cathy in 38.40.
As well as Charlie's performance, we had good performances from the other youngsters Ben, Findlay and Lauren, running her first hill race.
