As a warm-up to the annual ceilidh, a small but select group made the long trip north to race the National Masters Cross Country Championships at Forres. Having taken 2nd place in the MV50 category at the Scottish National Cross Country Relays in October, hopes were high for a good set of results. Sure enough, the V50 team of Will, Wattie and Patrick came home as 2nd placed team again, and now have the National Cross Country Championships in Falkirk to look forward to at the end of February. Also running were youngsters Roger and Phil - Roger was first Harrier home in 25th position. Will finished 30th, Wattie 32nd, Patrick 45th and Phil 117th. The team was also 5th overall in the M40-60 category.
