With 5 men running in this one we were just one short of a full team for our men. Roger was first Harrier home (65th) with Doug (164th) and Mark (218th) following. Gordon and Iain weren't far behind Mark in 222nd and 234th. For the women, Kerry was our lone Harrier and she had a good run finishing in a more than respectable 57th out of 89 runners.
Gordon M moves to the top of the club men's cross country championship, while Kerry is breathing hard down Maddy's neck in the women's championship.
Gordon M – 61 (3 races)
Phil M – 50 (2)
Iain T – 39 (2)
Mark D – 38 (2)
Roger – 25 (1)
Danny & Doug – 23 (both 1)
Al – 18 (1)
Maddy – 50 (2 races
Kerry – 48 (2)
For the juniors, we had 13 juniors competing across the different age ranges. For U11 Girls, Tash ran hard to finish 62nd in her race. In the U11 Boys race, there was quite a scrap between the 4 Harriers taking part with Alasdair coming out on top from Tristan both recording times of 7.46 for 56th and 57th place. In 58th, just 4 seconds and one place behind was Alex racing for the club for the first time and Harrison just 5 seconds further back in 62nd.
In the U13 Boys race we had a great turnout of 5 Harriers. First in was Ru in 35th place with Fergus 13 seconds behind in 42nd. Jamie was 71st, Jack 80th and Harris in 81st.
In the U15s, Duthac and Dominic both started but unfortunately, Dominic had to pull out before the end. Duthac carried on to finish in 27th place. For the girls, on her debut, Siobhan ran a great race to finish 51st and will have gained some valuable experience for next time.
