The Glencoe Skyline is a race that would give most people nightmares. Starting in Kinlochleven, the race route is remorselessly hard, with 55km and 4746m of ascent over demanding terrain, including rock scrambling up the famous Curved Ridge on Buachaille Etive Mor and difficult going along the Aonach Eagach ridge on the north side of the glen.
Needless to say, only a select few can contemplate taking on such an event, and of course, Harrier Will Manners is one of those select few. Will ran the race last year and finished in 22nd position and 3rd MV45. This year, Will improved on his time from last year despite the race being 6km longer, and finished in 31st position, 1st MV45, in a time of 9.00.15.
The race was won by Jonathon Albon, in a time of 6.33.52.
