Two Harriers opted for the flatness of the Stirling 10k instead of the hills of Comrie on Sunday 11 September. Stirling always attracts a high-quality field, and this year it was chosen as the venue for the Scottish 10k Championship race. The race was won by Kristian Jones, running for Swansea Harriers but now studying in St Andrews, in a fast time of 30.24.
For the Harriers, Sol Sweeney took 3 minutes off the club record for the distance, finishing in an time of 32.12, in 15th position (and 3rd Under-20). Richard Collingwood continued his collection of solid 10k runs with a good 43.54.
