Four Harriers made the trip to Coll for the island’s half marathon. As might be expected, it was a bit breezy, and Andrew reports an undulating twisty route, with the added bonus (?) of a stretch of running across sand dunes on the RSPB reserve on the south of the island. First Harrier home was Andy A in 1.32.20, with Andy Gallagher in 1.53.22, Jenni Browne in 2.14.50, and Colin Tipping celebrating his birthday with a time of 2.32.53.
Rosie Logan also ran in the 10k, and was very happy to break the 60 minute barrier with a time of 58 minutes.
Andrew also reports great things at the post-race food and ceilidh. Sounds like a top weekend away.
