The Jura fell race is one of the classic Scottish hill races, covering 28k, with 2370m of ascent over seven Paps of Jura. Emily Greaves ran the race in 2014, and it obviously made a big impression - not only did she run it again this year, but she's taking over as Race Director next year. This year she finished 23rd woman, in a time of 5.31.07 – not quite matching her 2014 effort, but a terrific effort.
The men's race was won by Finlay Wild of Lochaber AC in 3.05.14, and the women's race was won by Jill Stephen of HBT in 4.05.18
To get an idea of the terrain the race is run over, have a look at this set of pics.
