Iain Thomson had a good day out at the 7R multi-terrain half marathon, run round the seven reservoirs of the Pentland Hills. In Iain's own words:
Great course, real mixture of terrain and elevations, probably my favourite half marathon. Event management excellent as well - a big fire with cauldrons of hot soup, real coffee and lots of sandwiches and cakes.
Iain ran an excellent time of 1.52.17, to finish in 41st position overall and 3rd MV60. The race was won by James Britton of Carnethy in a new course record time of 1.21.57.
