Iain Thomson ran the Pentland Skyline, covering 16 miles and 6200 feet of climb in the Pentland Hills near Edinburgh. Iain was 2nd MV60, completing the course in 4.18.18, a little way down on last year's efforts, reflecting the wetter muddier conditions this year.
The race was by Alexander Chepelin of Edinburgh Univeristy Hares and Hounds in a time of 02:28:12, 9 minutes ahead of Al Anthony 2nd place.
The race was the final event in the SHR Long Classics Series, and Iain finished 3rd MV60 after completing 4 of the 9 possible races: Stuc a'Chroinn, Ben Rinnes, Ochils 2000s and the Pentland Skyline.
