Knock Hill 5

The club was well represented in the annual Knock Hill Race on May 28th 2003.
First 3 Strathearn harriers home were Sandy Storey in 35:58, Phil Tipping in 36:00 and Jim McConnell in 36:25.

Crieff 10k race

Walter Simpson masterminded the Crieff 10k race on July 20th 2003, and many club athletes took part. Phil Tipping came in as first Harrier with a time of 40.26, closely followed by Peter MacDonald in 41.06.

Comrie Fun Run

Several club runners took part in a rather damp Comrie Fun Run on July 31st 2003. Phil Tipping was the first Harrier home (again!) but 14 year old Bruce Cutler, visiting his grandmother in Comrie, took overall first place. Sandy, where were you?

People

Nick Anderson says goodbye to us all as he heads off to do missionary work down south. Nick will be back for the annual dinner if not before, and in the meantime his contact details are available on request by emailing here.

On September 6th, Adrian Wake and Eric Sidebottom both ran the Ben Nevis hillrace again, in excellent conditions. Adrian succeeded in beating last year's time of 2-45-31, with an impressive 2-37-42, but Eric completed the course in 5 minutes less, with a time of 2-32-34. There's always next year Adrian!
