08 January 2018Men's captain Andy Aitken has successfully completed his Scottish Athletics Level 2 coaching qualification. Andy is our second Level 2-qualified coach, alongside Phil Mestecky, and this qualification will be of great benefit to juniors and seniors in the club.

13 November 2017Roger Clark and Anne Hartmann had their first outing in the blue and white of Strathearn Harriers at the Glen Clova half marathon, with a pair of excellent results. Roger was 5th overall and 1st MV40 in a time of 1.20.36 and Anne was 2nd woman in a time of 1.26.44, setting a new club record for the distance.
13 November 2017The Watson-Fairweather team was back in action in Glasgow at the Jimmy Irvine 10k in Bellahouston Park. Maddy was first Harrier home in an excellent time of 42.07, missing her previous pb by 1 second. Considering Maddy ran in the short-course cross-country on Saturday, this was a very impressive performance. Lauren was next in a time of 49.51, and Nic overcame her dodgy hip to record a time of 51.34.
06 November 2017Will leads the Harriers home at the G33 with a very fine 4.30.26, in 29th position and 1st MV50, with Julia 1st FV60 and Rob S making a fine ultra debut.
06 November 2017Colin T was back in Fort William for another crack at the flattest half marathon in Scotland. Colin’s time of 2.27.36 was a bit down on last year’s performance, but was a grand effort for his second half in consecutive weekends.
