Will Manners takes 1st Male Vet place at the astonishingly tough Glen Coe Skyline race of 55km with 4,746m of ascent.

Stirling 10k

Sol takes three minutes off the club 10k record with an excellent 32.12 at the Stirling 10k.

Simon Wake Comrie Hills Relay

11 September 2016

The men's race was won by the Carnethy team of James Waldie, Iain Gilmore, Konrad Rawlik, Eoin Lennon and Mike Reid in a time of 3.15.38. The women's race was won by the Ochil Bochles team of Katie Baxter, Karen Kealey, Mairi Macintosh, Andrea Priestley and Fiona Kelsall from Ochil Hillrunners in a time of 4.25.58. NAAC Race the Prom 10k

Richard Collingwood made the trip to Saltcaots for the North Ayrshire AC annual Race the Prom 10k. In a field of nearly 500 runners, Richard finished in a very creditable 69th position, with a time of 45.09 - not quite a PB this time but a good effort nonetheless given the warm conditions.

Gateside Gallop

Andy Gallagher is 4th MV50 at the Gateside Gallop and moves back to second position in the men's championship with a smartly-used wildcard.

Glasgow Clyde Marathon

Wendy T leads the Harriers home in the new Glasgow Clyde Marathon in an excellent 3.35.06, to take the lead in the women's championship. Paul T, Nic, Kerry and Susan S also represented the club with distinction.

Perth 10k

Ben takes 8th place in the Perth 10k with a new pb of 37.37, and Janine scores another pb of 52.16.

Balmullo Trail Race

Phil T and Nic lead the Harriers in the Balmullo Trail race, with Julia and Lauren also enjoying the race and the post-race cakes.

Haddington half marathon

In her last event for Strathearn Harriers before embarking on her university course in Maastricht, Tara Foster ran very well in the Haddington half, finishing as 10th woman, in a time of 1.39.47 over an undulating course.

Colonsay capers

Mark Beaumont and Phil M take on the MacPhies of Colonsay - 22 hills with a height in excess of 300 feet - and battle through brambles, heather and bracken to make their way round the island in less than 6 hours.
