15 October 2018Al Nichol ran the Mad Hatters half marathon in Fife. This looks like a bit of beast, especially in very challenging weather, with almost 700m of ascent up and down Benarty Hill on fairly sketchy trails. Al was 18th overall and 5th MV40, in a time of 2.46.47, which is an excellent effort.
15 October 2018Nick Gough and Iain Thomson took on the Pentland Skyline race, covering 16 miles with 6200 feet of ascent and very considerable amounts of mud and bog. Nick finished in 4.02.28, fighting off cramp, and Iain wasn’t far behind with a course pb of 4.09.59 (6th MV60) – excellent efforts from both runners.
08 October 2018Andy Gallagher leads the way at the Meall nan Tarmachan hill race with an excellent 1.07.19, 2nd MV50. Next in was Morris Roberts, in his first ‘proper’ hill race, not far behind in 1.09.50, with Gordon Morrison next in 1.20.13.
08 October 2018Half marathon pbs for Ben and Lauren, a season's best for Tony, and fine performances from Jim A, Nic and Julia made up a successful trip to Kirkintilloch, and Lauren asserts her position at the head of the women's championship
08 October 2018Anne Hartemann popped back to Germany for her hometown marathon, finishing in an outstanding time of 3.07.22.

01 October 2018Excellent efforts at the Great Scottish Run weekend in Glasgow, with stand-out performances from Ben Murphy and Neil Scholes, pbs for Susan Alexander and Lorna McLarty, and strong runs from Jim Alexander, Beth Scholes, Janine Grant, Cat Williams and Beth Blue.
01 October 2018Wattie takes 1st MV50 and Kerry takes 1st FV40 at the East Neuk 10k, and Nic, Lauren and Julia do a wee run before the cakes.
24 September 2018Ben runs the Salomon Skyline Scotland Verical Kilometre, ascending 1027m over a 5k distance, from sea level at Kinlochleven to the finish line at the summit of Na Gruagaichean. Ben finished in a very good time of 58:51 and in 122nd= place in a high quality field of 343 runners.
24 September 2018Ben Murphy and Rhian Evans had a fun day out at the Beinn Resipol hill race on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Ben finished in 31st position, in a time of 1.28.44, and Rhian was 15th woman in a time of 1.49.26.
