10 July 2016Calum Martin wins the Crieff 10k 37.40 in less-than-perfect conditions, while Scottish Olympian Freya Ross wins the women's race in 39.44. For Strathearn Harriers, Will Manners and Sonja McFadden were first finishers.
04 July 2016Nic, Julia, Lauren and Colin took a day-trip to Arran for the Arran half marathon. Nic put in a cracking performance with a very good 1.41.58, 6th in her age category, followed by Julia Greenlees in 1.52.45, 2nd in her age category for the second year running, with Lauren Fairweather finishing close to the 2 hour mark in 2.01.21, and Colin Tipping in 2.18.23, 11th in his age category.
04 July 2016Andy Aitken completed his tour of the Western Isles with the Harris half marathon, finishing a tough race in a in a very good 1.35.07, in 19th position. Andy picked up a coveted Heb3 Challenge t-shirt for his efforts in completing the Hebrides half marathons series organised by Stornoway Running Club.
30 June 201615 Harriers raced the Milnathort Dash, with Wattie and Wendy taking club honours with 2nd places in their age categories and good championship points.
27 June 2016Andy Aitken continued his tour of the Western Isles with his fourth half marathon of the summer on Barra. Andy finished in 1.35.15, in 25th position.
27 June 2016At the new Run Mhor half marathon, Sonja McFadden was first Harrier home, finishing in 27th position overall, 5th woman and 3rd in her age category, with a time of 1.57.49. Next in was Matt McLay, in 1.59.24, in 33rd position, with Julie MacDonald finishing in 2.30.08.
27 June 2016Tony Wayte and Iain Thomson took on the 26.5 mile Lairig Ghru race from Braemar to Aviemore. Tony finished in 4.51.41, with Iain finishing in 5.23.43.
26 June 2016The Junior track day at Dallerie rounded off the junior season before the summer break with a fine level of competition and enthusiasm from everyone involved. Many thanks to all the parents who helped with the event, and congratulations to all who took part.
20 June 2016Richard Collingwood took another big chunk off his 10k pb at the Glasgow Men's 10k to finish in 44.21
12 June 2016Wattie and Tara lead the way at Strathallan, with Wattie scoring good championship points, with Wattie finishing 5th overall and Tara 21st overall and 3rd woman. Good race action was had with Maddy and Iain indulging in a sprint finish for 45th and 46th places, just behind Mark (43rd) and Daniel Forster (44th).
