17 April 2016Club president Gordon Morrison took first MV60 at the Fruehlingslauf 10k in Werl (a small town just east of Dortmund), in a fine time of 45.09, in 16th place overall.
16 April 2016Colin Lamont leads the Harriers home at Norman's Law, Mark Dillon heads the Championship table, and Andy Gallagher moved into third place in the championship.
10 April 2016Mark Dillon and I made the trip to Strathclyde Park for the Tom Scott 10 mile road race. The race was won by Tewodle Mengisteab of Shettleston Harriers in a time of 50.49. Our times were a bit more modest, but we were both very happy with the results. I clocked 68.26, while Mark clocked 79.34. Mark's efforts move him up to 2nd place in the club championship.
10 April 2016Not content with running 21 times round North Inch in Perth a couple of weeks ago, Matt McLay took on the Great Tartan Skidaddle on Saturday April 9. This is a new race on a new long-distance path through the Trossachs from Inversnaid on Loch Lomond to Callander, a total distance of 31 miles. Despite sore feet, Matt completed the route in 6.11.
10 April 2016Andy Aitken had a big 10k pb at the Round the Houses race in Grangemouth, taking 3 minutes off his previous best to finish in 41.41. Also running were Wattie Mackay (1st MV50), Colin Lamont, Ben Murphy and Maddy Watson.
04 April 2016Two Harriers teams competed at the National Road Relays in Livingston. The men's team completed the six legs of their race in a total time of 2.50.33, in 39th position, and the women's team finished the four legs of their race with a total time of 2.20.57, in 22nd position.
04 April 2016Ruth Clark and Ruth Howie joined a bunch of like-minded Wee County chums to run the Paris Marathon on Sunday April 3. Unfortunately injury and heat got in the way of personal best times, but a good time seemed to had by all. Ruth and Ruth ran together to finish in 4.53.11.

13 March 2016A trio of Harriers made the trip North to take on the Inverness half marathon. Andy Aitken was first Harrier home and finished in 1:39:46. Colin Tipping and Fiona Lyle ran together, and despite Fiona battling leg pains for the last five miles put in a very fine effort to finish in 2:16:51.
