09 November 2015Wattie Mackay successfully defended his V50 title at the Jimmy Irvine Bella 10k with a fine time of 36.27 in difficult conditions, and Andy Aitken set a pb with a time of 44.24.
09 November 2015A busload of Harriers stormed Dundee for the Hartley Relays, with great performances from everyone, but especially all the Under-12s, David Alexander stepping into the adults team with great success and Paul Taylor, coming in at the last minute despite his 33 mile ultra the day before!
08 November 2015Six Harriers took on the Glen Ogle 33 ultra, with Paul and Wendy Taylor leading the way to finish in 5.07, Ruth H not far behind, and Nic, Julia and Susan taking a wee bit longer. Great performances from everyone, particularly with the disrupted training that some of them had to endure in the weeks leading up to the race.
02 November 2015Colin Lamont's wildcard and joker at the Dumyat Dash moved him up to 4th place in the Championship, within closing distance of 3rd place.
26 October 2015Andy Gallagher took on the Run of the Mill hill race at Alva, finishing in 1.39.48 - a very good effort for someone with knackered knees! Andy played a Championship wildcard on this race and closes the gap to Charlie Grimson to less than one point!
26 October 2015Ruth Howie, Nick Gough and Gary Brock ran in the 38-mile ultra, the 10k and the half-marathon at the Jedburgh Running Festival, with satisfying performances ll round.
26 October 2015The Harriers men's V50 team took 2nd place at the Scottish National Cross Country Relays at Cumbernauld, with terrific performances from Wattie Mackay, Patrick O'Kane and Colin Lamont. The men's senior team included three of our upcoming youngsters to finish in 64th place overall, but unfortunately a technical glitch prevent the men's V40 team recording a finishing time.
26 October 2015Will Manners and Roger Goddard took 4th place in the A Category at the 2015 Original Mountain Marathon in the hills above Tweedsmuir in the Scottish Borders, covering about 60km and climbing nearly 5000m.
