Loch Rannoch Marathon

19 October 2015

Andy Aitken took on his third marathon of the year at the Loch Rannoch Marathon, finishing in 16th position in a personal best time of 3.36.40, taking 9 minutes off his previous best.

East District cross country - Stirling

19 October 2015

A small but determined group made it to the first of the East District Cross country series at Stirling University on October 17, with boys and men in most of the age group categories and Cathy Tilbrook flying the flag for the women.

Glen Coe Marathon

Ruth and Cathy took on the very tough challenge of the Glen Coe Marathon, through 26 miles of demanding terrain. First Harrier home was Ruth, in her usual irrepressible form, back after a knee injury, to finish in 4.54, with Cathy not far behind, fighting off cramp to finish in 5.14.

Great Scottish Run

Harriers at the Great Scottish Run weekend recorded fine performances over 2.5k, 10k and half marathon distances. Stand-out performance was Wattie's 1st MV50 in a new personal best time of 35.40. This moves him up to the top 10 in Scotland for 10k times this year.

Jersey Marathon

Paul, Wendy and Susan enjoyed a trip to Jersey to take in a family wedding and the Jersey Marathon. Ideal training for the Glen Ogle 33!

East Neuk 10k

Nic, Sandy and Lauren had a good day out at the East Neuk 10k at Anstruther, with Sandy first Harrier home in 27th position in 39.33.

Loch Ness Marathon

29 September 2015

Four Harriers made the trip north for the Loch Ness Marathon, with Phil T leading the way in 3.32.07, Colin putting in a great effort to finish 4th in the MV70 category, and Beth making her marathon debut, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Berlin Marathon

29 September 2015

Two Harriers took on the popular and fast Berlin Marathon. Nigel Hetherington finished in 3.57.37, while Allan MacInnes completed in 4.26.49.

Pitlochry 10k

20 September 2015

Wattie had another successful trip to Pitlochry, and Cathy and Wendy had good races to set up a tight finish in the women's championship.

Simon Wake Comrie Hills Relay

17 September 2015

Carnethy retained their men's title, while HBT Ladies (if that's not a contradiction in terms), took the women's race. Solid performances from all Harriers runners and outstanding organisation from Kerry and her team.
