Edinburgh marathon

Julia and Nic had a good day out at the Edinburgh marathon, with Julia achieving an 18 minute pb, finishing the the top 10 of her age category. Julia finished in 4.00.19, in 7th position in her age category. Nic was a wee bit ahead, finishing in 3.53.03.

Stornoway half marathon

Leg 1 of Andy Aitken's islands adventure got off to a storming start at the Stornoway half marathon, with a fine pb time of 1.33.42. Next up for Andrew is the Benbecula half.

Kinnoull Hill race

Aaron Dawson leads the way at Kinnoull, finishing in 15th position, while Tara Forster leads the women in, with an unconfirmed time somewhere in the region of 33 minutes. Andy Gallagher's joker takes him to the top of the men's championship table.

Slioch Horseshoe race

Iain Thomson completes the classic Slioch Horsehoe race in very challenging weather conditions, to beat his target time and finish in 3.29.54.

Dumyat Hill race

Young Harriers to the fore at Dumyat - Tara Forster and Aaron Dawson led the way for the Harriers at the Dumyat Hill race, with Tara taking an excellent 8th place in the women's race, and Aaron in 38th position in the men's race.

Loch Leven half marathon

Ben Murphy leads the Harriers home at the Loch Leven half in an excellent 1.26.52, to finish in 22nd position and terrific preparation for the Strathearn Marathon next month. Mark and Rowan's efforts at Dumyat and Loch Leven put them at the top of the championship tables.

Glen Lyon ultra

Matt McLay completes yet another ultra! This time it was the new Glen Lyon ultra, covering 30 miles of remote running in Glen Lyon and Glen Lochay.

National 5k Road Race championships

Wattie's a National Champion, taking 1st MV50 at the National 5k Road Race championships in Edinburgh on Friday May 6. His time of 16.59 is also a new pb.

Hoka Highland Fling

At the Hoka Highland Fling, Iain Thomson was first Harrier in a very good time of 11.56.33. Julia Greenlees and Nicola Watson ran together for the entire race to beat their target time to finish in 12.54.30. Julia was delighted to beat her 2015 time by a massive margin of 90 minutes!

Stuc 'Chroin 5000

02 May 2016

Will Manners was the sole Harriers representative at the Stuc a’Chroin 5000 race. In tough conditions, Will finished in a very good 10th position overall, and 2nd MV50, in a time of 2.44.48.
