Phil T at the Wrexham Marathon

As part of his preparation for the Highland Fling, Phil T has run the Wrexham Marathon in 3.44.09, finishing 58th overall and 3rd MV50.

New Club 10k record!

Roger Goddard breaks the club 10k record at the Cambuslang 'Down by the River' 10k with a superb 35.19. Roger now holds the club record times for the 10k, half marathon and marathon.

Club cross-country championship

Cathy and Phil M take the inaugural Harriers cross-country championships, with Emily and Maddy tied in 2nd place in the women's championship, and Roger and Wattie in 2nd and 3rd places in the men's championship.

Level 2 coaches

Phil Mestecky has passed the Level 2 Coaching course and is now a fully qualified Level 2 Athletics Coach. Ruth Howie and Liz Mestecky have passed the practical assessments of their Level 2 Coaching courses and are now well on the way to attaining the full Level 2 coaching qualification.

National Masters Cross Country Championships

Harriers men take 2nd place in the National Masters X-country! Will, Wattie and Patrick had a good day in Forres to finish 2nd MV50 team.

Harriers ceilidh and prizegiving

Achievement Awards, Marcothon certificates, Presidents Trophies and Championship Trophies were presented at the annual ceilidh on Saturday. The Presidents Trophies were awarded to Andy Aitken and Julia Greenlees for their overall contributions to the club, and Cathy and Wattie received their championship trophies and the coveted blue and gold club hoody. A grand night was had by all!

Harriers at the Devil's Burdens

Harriers women finish 7th in the Devil's Burdens relay, the men finished 12th, and everyone had a good time.
