Harriers ceilidh and prizegiving

Achievement Awards, Marcothon certificates, Presidents Trophies and Championship Trophies were presented at the annual ceilidh on Saturday. The Presidents Trophies were awarded to Andy Aitken and Julia Greenlees for their overall contributions to the club, and Cathy and Wattie received their championship trophies and the coveted blue and gold club hoody. A grand night was had by all!

Harriers women finish 7th in the Devil's Burdens relay, the men finished 12th, and everyone had a good time.

East District Cross country - Alloa

23 November 2015

Strong running in the mud at Alloa in the latest round of the East District Cross Country saw Wattie lead the Harriers charge, with a welcome return to racing for Andy Greaves. The Masters team of Wattie, Roger and Will took 1st place in the over-40s category.

Jimmy Irvine Bellahouston 10k

Wattie Mackay successfully defended his V50 title at the Jimmy Irvine Bella 10k with a fine time of 36.27 in difficult conditions, and Andy Aitken set a pb with a time of 44.24.

Hartley Relays

A busload of Harriers stormed Dundee for the Hartley Relays, with great performances from everyone, but especially all the Under-12s, David Alexander stepping into the adults team with great success and Paul Taylor, coming in at the last minute despite his 33 mile ultra the day before!

Glen Ogle 33

08 November 2015

Six Harriers took on the Glen Ogle 33 ultra, with Paul and Wendy Taylor leading the way to finish in 5.07, Ruth H not far behind, and Nic, Julia and Susan taking a wee bit longer. Great performances from everyone, particularly with the disrupted training that some of them had to endure in the weeks leading up to the race.

Dumyat Dash

Colin Lamont's wildcard and joker at the Dumyat Dash moved him up to 4th place in the Championship, within closing distance of 3rd place.
