Eddie’s half marathon

Colin T was back in Fort William for another crack at the flattest half marathon in Scotland. Colin’s time of 2.27.36 was a bit down on last year’s performance, but was a grand effort for his second half in consecutive weekends.

Winter Championship Club 5k

Roger Clark leads the way in the men's race with a course record time of 17.23, with Anne Hartmann holding off a strong challenge from Greta Dargie. The Juniors ran very well, with Levi taking an excellent 2nd place.

Antonine trail race

Rachel runs further than she's ever run before, Nic wins 1st FV50, and Tony and Lauren have a grand day out on the Antonine Wall.

Jedburgh half marathon

Nick Gough and Colin Tipping ventured south for the Jedburgh half marathon, part of a weekend of running in this friendly Borders town. Nick ran very well to dip under the 90 minute mark with a time of 1.29.56, finishing in 48th position overall. Colin's time of 2.25.33 wasn't his best but was a fine effort.

Aviemore 10k and half marathon

Lynne A scores a big pb at the Aviemore 10k, making the most of the friendly race profile, with a time of 47.55, while Wendy T ran the half in 1.36.40, to finish 9th woman overall and 2nd FV40.

Rannoch Marathon

Julia takes 1st FV60 at the Rannoch Marathon in 4.26.17, Nic takes 5th FV50 in 3.56.46, and Andrew has a bit of a struggle for his 5.16.52.

Coigach half marathon

Langdale Horseshoe

Roger Goddard ran the demanding Langdale Horseshoe fell race in the Lake District in 2.57.34. The race covers 21km of tough mountain terrain with 1500m climbing.

Pentland Skyline

Iain Thomson ran the Pentland Skyline, covering 16 miles and 6200 feet of climb in the Pentland Hills near Edinburgh. Iain was 2nd MV60, completing the course in 4.18.18,

Meall nan Tarmachan hill race

Andy Gallagher ran the gnarly Meall nan Tarmachan hill race on Saturday, in mostly sunny conditions, with all the tops clear, a bit windy, and wetter underfoot than recent years. Andy finished in 1.15.41,
