26 February 2018With one race to spare, Neil and Beth Scholes are the club's winter champions for 2017/18. Many congratulations to Neil and Beth in their first year competing for Strathearn Harriers.
19 February 2018Maddy Watson was running in the annual Glasgow University 5 mile road race, and ran an excellent time of 34.28, finishing as 10th woman.
19 February 2018Team Scholes put in another big trip to run at the Devilla 15k trail race, in muddy conditions. Neil finished in 1.06.28, (7th MV50), and Beth finished in 1.23.48. Al Nicholl ran in his first race of 2018, and was very happy with his time of 1.20.24.
19 February 2018Jim Alexander returned to schoolboy haunts for the Kinloss to Lossiemouth half marathon and was rewarded with blue skies and perfect conditions, cakes in his old school dinner hall and an excellent time of 1:35.15 for the run.
12 February 2018Neil and Beth are rewarded for their 170 mile round trip from Aberfeldy to Kirkintilloch for the 12.5k road with top places in the winter championship.
05 February 2018Nick takes the honours at the intra-club cross-country at Cultybraggan, with Emily leading the women home.
30 January 2018Harriers Women take 6th place at the Devil's Burdens, with strong performances from the Men's team (40th position) and our two mixed teams (99th and 104th)
28 January 2018Three Harriers took on a snowy Broxburn cross-country, with sound perfomances from Maddy, Iain and Gordon
08 January 2018Men's captain Andy Aitken has successfully completed his Scottish Athletics Level 2 coaching qualification. Andy is our second Level 2-qualified coach, alongside Phil Mestecky, and this qualification will be of great benefit to juniors and seniors in the club.
08 January 2018Maddy Watson starts 2018 as she finished 2017 with a fine performance at the second race in the Strathearn Trail Race series at Blue Sky Events near Methven.
