East Neuk 10k

25 September 2017

Wattie enjoys a trip to Fife to finish 10th overall and 1st MV50 at the East Neuk 10k in a time of 37.00. Nic was next in, with a time of 47.04 (6th FV50), with Lauren scoring another 10k pb of 48.36, and Julia finishing in 51.29 (4th FV60).

Scottish 10k

Nick Gough went to the flat Scottish 10k in Musselburgh chasing a fast time and came away with a fine pb and a 23rd position overall. With a speedy final kilometre split of 3.12, Nick finished in an excellent 38.57.

Loch Ness 10k

Colin and Beth chum Charlie round his first and possibly last 10k at the Loch Ness running festival, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Auchterarder half marathon

Paul leads the Harriers charge at Auchterarder with an excellent 20th position, Maddy is 11th woman and Nic takes 1st FV50.

Pitlochry 10k

Wattie takes 10h position and 2nd MV50 at the long Pitlochry 10k, Tony plays his joker to pick up decent championship points, and Mark makes a welcome return from injury.

Simon Wake Comrie Hills Relay

Success for the Harriers at the SWCHR, with first overall team, first women's team, and first mixed vets team, and a clutch of men's and women's leg winners. Possibly the club's most successful haul of prizes ever!

Great North Run

Andy Scott joined the throngs for the Great North Run and was happy with his 1:43:37, just a wee bit behind Mo Farah.

Stirling 10k

Wattie Mackay ran the fast flat Stirling 10k, finishing with a very fine time of 37.08, as 6th MV50.

Kilmacolm 10k

Andrew Brown chummed his brother-in-law on his first 10k, both finishing with good times of 49.45 or so.

Race the Prom 10k

04 September 2017

Men’s captain Andrew Aitken ventured west to Ardrossan and Saltcoats for the Race the Prom 10k. The wind and rain made for tough work, and Andrew was pleased to make it round in 41.41, which is a time most of us would be very happy with.
