Mondays
On Mondays throughout the year there is a run at 9.15 am, starting from Taylor Park in Crieff. Often this is a group of mainly women runners doing a hour or so on roads and trails around Crieff.
Wednesdays
While daylight in the evenings is limited, approximately from October till March, there's a run
on Wednesdays from the Crieff Community Campus (meet in the carpark) starting at 6.00 pm, again for an hour or so, with a mixed group of runners. This town route is about 6 miles but has optional loops that you can choose to run or miss out as you prefer.
There's a map of the town route here.
In the longer days, from April onwards, the Wednesday run continues but starts at 6.15 pm, goes mostly off-road, with the meeting point alternating between Taylor Park in Crieff and Laggan Park in Comrie.
Saturdays
There is a speed training session on most Saturday mornings - see calendar for specific dates. The sessions vary but are usually part of a programme working towards a particular race. Meet at Taylor Park for 9.00 am.
Sundays
On Sundays there is no longer a formal club run but we encourage members and other runners to use the forum to connect with like-minded folk and do your own thing!
A calendar of all club runs is here, and the Club run diary on the forum gives a flavour of what the runs might be like.
Note: the club run programme is pretty reliable, but it's always worth quickly checking the Training topics on the club forum for news of any last minute changes.
For example, sometimes a run may be cancelled because most regular participants are taking part in a club event or a race elsewhere.
Here are maps for
Crieff Recreation Centre and Taylor park, and a link to Perth and Kinross Leisure for other training facilities.
