Half Dramathon

Fittingly for someone who works at the local distillery, Morris Roberts took on the Half Dramathon in Speyside. As the name suggests, the race features a number of Speyside distilleries, starting near Tamdhu Distillery, along the Speyside Way, through Aberlour, past Craigellachie and on to the finish line at Glenfiddich Distillery - roughly half-marathon distance. The route uses mainly forest tracks with some occasional short sections on minor roads and some hilly terrain, and runners are rewarded with whisky samples from local distilleries.
Morris finished in a fine time of 1.31.42, an impressive 13th out of 500 finishers and 3rd Male Vet. The race was won by Shay Morain in 1.13.10
