Another Adrian Davies special, the Newtyle race is a 7.8k blast up and down Newtyle Hill with 300m of ascent. Four Harriers made the Wednesday evening trip, with success for Nick Gough winning the race in 33.38, with Calum McBean not far behind in second place and first Junior in 33.59. Next Harrier home was Morris Roberts in 6th position in 37.46, with Anna McDonald first female Junior in 12th position in 42.53.
Disappointlingly, there were only 23 runners.
