Cademuir Rollercoaster

The Cademuir Rollercoaster is an old-school enter-on-the-day event, now in its 12th year, organised by Moorfoot Harriers. The race starts and finishes just outside Peebles and covers a distance of around 6km, with a climb of 275m up and down grassy slopes on Cademuir Hill.
First Harrier home was Calum McBean, finishing in a time of 29.27, in 21st position, just two places behnd the legend that is Jethro Lennox. Next in was Graeme Warren in 29.42 for 23rd place, with Dave Dowse finishing in 33.34 for 49th place.
The race was won by Thomas Hilton of Moorfoot Harriers in a new course record of 24.19.
