Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon

The Kindrochit Quadrathlon is a true beast of an event, featuring a 0.8 mile swim from Ardtalnaig on the south side of Loch Tay, followed by a walk/run 15 miles over seven Munros in the Ben Lawers range (Meall Greigh, Meall Garbh, An Stuc, Ben Lawers, Beinn Ghlas, Meall Corranaich and Meall Nan Tarmachan), then a kayak 7 miles from Loch Tay Highland Lodges back to Ardtalnaig, before jumping on your bike and cycling 34 miles round Loch Tay. Sounds mad. 

Anna Hammond has spent months training for this, and her efforts paid off, with a fifth place finish overall and a first place female pair with her partner Jane Ogilvie, winning a proper handsome trophy to go along with feeling well chuffed.
