Glen Lyon Ultra

The Glen Lyon Ultra is a beautiful 31 mile ultra with a start/finish at the Loch Lyon dam and takes in a lap of Loch Lyon before climbing into Glen Lochay for a loop up and down the glen before climbing back over the bealach and down into the finish in Glen Lyon. The route is mostly off-road and incorporates a number of river crossings, so wet feet are pretty much inevitable.
Thomas Silkstone was the lone Harrier taking on the event, finishing an impressive 6th overall, in a time of 4:32:33.
The race was won by Grant Burnett in 3.48.31.
