Three of our keen hillrunners took on the Trotternish Ridge race in Skye. This is a fantastic route from Flodigarry, climbing up to the ridge at the Quirang, before heading south to the Old Man of Storr, and then dropping off the ridge to the finish at Storr Lochs. The route is around 27km with approximately 2000m of ascent and descent. Entries are limited to 75 due to Nature Scot restrictions.
First Harrier home was Jon Turnbull in 6th position, 2nd MV40, in a time of 3.18.16. Next in was Jim Reid in 11th position, 4th MV40, in 3.27.04, with Dave Dowse not far behind in 19th position, 5th MV40, in 3.49.08.
The race was won by Luke Taylor of Highland Hill Runners in 2.45.10.
