Three Harriers - Harris Paget, Jon Turnbull and Hanna McInally - made the trip south for the Yetholm hill race.
Harris was first Harrier home in 6th position overall in a time of 1.06.00. Jon Turnbull was next Harrier with a time of 1.14.01 in 23rd position overall and 3rd MV40. Hanna finished in 1.25.28, in 68th position overall and 12th woman.
From Hanna: Today was the 3rd Scottish hill running championship race near Yetholm at the borders. Harris P, Jon Turnbull and I ran the 12.8 km race with 760m climb. It was a great race with many climbs which included one that seemed to never end! A fast second half along the Pennine Way.
Certainly great to run a new (to us) hill race!
The race was won by Sasha Chepelin of Carnethy in 1.02.52, and the women's race was won by Catriona MacDonald of Bellahouston RR in 1.15.08.
