
The Tilli 10 is a flat and, if you start near the front of the field with the fast boys and girls, fast 10k, starting and finishing at the Devonvale Hall in Tillicoultry. Run along the old railway line, it gets quite crowded, especially on the outward half making overtaking difficult. At the pointy end, it has been a very competitive race, with fast times from the likes of Commonwealth Games medallist Robbie Simpson and regular Scottish cross-country champion Jamie Crowe.
This year three Harriers shook off their post-Christmas calorie blowout. This report from Drew Brown: Three Harriers completed the popular out and back Tilly 10k race this morning. Mild conditions on a fast course was very welcome and the slightly downhill return 5k kept us all keen.
