Blast Running Hot Chocolate 10k
Race Date: 23 November 2025
With thanks to Fiona McDonald for the following race report: Four of us ran the Blast Running Hot Chocolate 10k today in Edinburgh. It’s a friendly, low-key event in Cramond. Conditions were cold and drizzly, but relatively still. We’re awaiting official results, but our watches suggest:
- Morris 41:25 (well under his pre-race goal of 42 minutes)
- Kay: 46:22 (10k PB)
- Me: 47:36 (a minute slower than my time for race 3 years ago but still happy)
- Nicola: 50:50 (a minute quicker than her Maggie's Centre 10k a fortnight ago)
So, four fairly happy bunnies came away from the event, albeit a bit cold and wet.
Official times were:
Morris: 41.25
Kay: 46.14
Fiona: 47.30
Nicola: 50.49.
