Run Balmoral Long Trail Race

The Run Balmoral race weekend features an array of trail races on the Balmoral Estate, and culminates with the 15 mile trail race.
Thanks to Jonathon Marks for the following race report: Part of a weekend of races, the Run Balmoral Long Trail race is the last race of the event. This year conditions weren’t favourable to the regular range of activities going on alongside the racing and the long trail race was also shortened from 24km to 20km to avoid higher level terrain. The race was two laps, with the first being in blizzard like conditions and the second being in sunshine. I finished 4th in 1:16.
The race was won by Aaron Odentz of Aberdeen AAC in 1.10.49. Jonathon's official chip time was 1.16.54. There were364 finishers.
