The Glen Lyon trail is the little sister event to the 50k ultra held the day before, and features the same loop of Loch Lyon, without the excursion into Glen Lochay.
Thanks to Fiona Macdonald, who had an impressive run in the 25k trail race, for the following race report: 2nd female (2:12:32). Solo Harrier venture today up at Loch Lyon and a typical summer day in Scotland - rain with windy conditions. 450m total elevation that started with a nasty climb up into the dam and 7 river crossings with some being waist height! Absolutely beautiful route and a fantastic course, I would recommend it to anyone!
The first female was Lucy Henderson, just 1 second ahead of Fiona, and they were 7th and 8th overall.
