Milngavie Trail Race

The Milngavie Trail Race is an 8.4 mile event that starts and finishes in Milngavie, taking runners onto the trails of the West Highland Way and through Mugdock Country Park. The route follows a mix of hard packed trails, single track paths and unmade ground, creating a varied and challenging off road experience.
Thanks to Dave Torgersen for the following report: What a mudfest!! Plus tree roots, rocks, slippy boardwalks to make a challenging course through Mugdock Country Park and a bit of West Highland Way. What fun!! Nice beer at the finish.
Dave finished in 144th place (out of 238), in 1:22:44, and as 1st V70 (and indeed, 4th V60!).
The race was won by Callum Totten in 52.40.
