Cateran Trail Ultramarathon

The Cateran Trial Ultra is a tough 55 mile race, with 2300m ascent, and a circular route start and finishing at Gulabin Lodge at the Spittal of Glenshee. Building distance for the West Highland Way race, Josie Goodfellow tackled this one, but an unfortunate navigation error left her wandering ‘lost in the wilderness’ and she made the sensible decision to DNF, whilst still having put in around marathon distance over difficult terrain.
