The fifth race in the club championship, the Dumyat hill race is always a popular mid-week race, featuring an up-and-down 8km route, with 380m ascent and a mad dash at the start to squeeze through the hole in the wall. The race doubles as the Scottish Student Sport Hill Running Championship, so there are always a host of students blasting up and down.
Thanks to Nicola Watson and Monica Thomson for this combined report: Excellent night at Dumyat Hill Race tonight, another Club Championship race. 12 Harriers took part in Harriers colours with another couple running for their university clubs. Calum was first Harrier home, while Isla (who was running for Stirling University) won 3rd Female team prize for Stirling Uni. Conditions were perfect tonight, and great stovies afterwards.
Notably, Ali Cunningham was 1st F60.
